I have been making some images for a few tattoo artists in the area. It is a great bunch of people to work with. When I finish the project I will post all the images here.

I have been an avid bike junkie since my pop bought me one when I was 7. It has gone down hill since then. I have a handful of bikes and I was just able to pick up a new one. The first new one I have had since the one my pop bought. I picked it up on Friday and have been able to put about 50 miles on it. I had to post an image to show it off.

With the new step in life, I have been enjoying making pictures a lot. I have been shooting some film and I am hoping to spend more time in the darkroom. I am hoping to have a few new projects done, including a new website. I will keep you posted.



With the changing seasons, two of my favorite foods are out. Peeps and Cadbury Eggs. It does not get much better than that.

changes for 09

I have been full of changes this year. As the economy slowed, my studio work began to slow. I also got my full time job with the Fire Department. It was with a heavy heart that closed down the studio location. Concept Photography is still going, it is as strong as ever. Now I am able to work on more personal projects. I was able to photograph a birthday party a few weeks ago. I made a few images that I was very happy with.

This is an image that I did not make but it is of me (on the left), my buddies Todd and Matt who I went to fire academy with in 2003. This was taken after a job in the afternoon. We were trying to take up before it got to cold.

New Portrait

I hope everyone had a good new year. I was on shift at the firehouse and it was very slow. This four day on the other hand I have been working like a madman trying to catch up. Concept Photography will have a new website here very soon and it will be full of new images and new look. I will send out and email to let everyone know.

For now here are a few frames from a shoot this morning of JB. He needed some headshots for an up coming trade show. I think they are a bit more interesting than the usual.

I was also tasked with making an image of the new Fire Chief. Of course I was told about it late and did have any gear with me exept for a camera with an almost dead battery. We got all of 20 frames shot then the battery called it quits.

It has come again, New Years Eve. This has been a good year for Concept Photography, a new studio space, new darkroom space, etc.

As many of you know I have also started working as a paid, full time fireman. No more summer work. I am still keeping the studio going and it is going better than ever. So cheers to everyone who made it such a great year, especially AKP. Thank you all and see you in the new year.

Coppola Clan

Last Christmas I was in Nor Cal spending some time with my brother in law and his family. We took a day trip to Sonoma to drink wine and eat cheese. It was a great day, a little over cast and a light rain falling. We ended up at the Coppola Vineyard.

We had some reservations and showed up a little early and had a wonderful time. As we were leaving we saw a group of people walking down the hill by the large tree in the photo. As they got closer it looked a lot like the whole Coppola clan. It was a great cap on the day to see the man himself at the vineyard. This is about as close to a paparazzi as I have ever been.

Florida Beach

AKP and I are in FL for Thanksgiving. We stayed a few days in Orlando and then headed down to Sarasota to see A's folks.

It is nice to make pictures for fun. It has been a while since I was able to walk around and use the sunny 16 rule (no light meter of course). Here are a few images that I made walking on the beach.
